At Happy Paws Total Pet Care, we are more than just a pet service—we are a family of animal lovers dedicated to making life easier for pet owners in our community.
We’re Amber and Jeremy Williams, the proud founders of Happy Paws Total Pet Care. Along with our 8-year-old daughter, Athena, we share a deep love for animals and a passion for providing top-quality pet services. For the past few years we have actively work with our local animal shelter, helping pets in need. In addition to running Happy Paws, we both provide Animal Control services for the city and county, ensuring the safety and well-being of animals in our community.
Meet the Founders
Amber Williams – With a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) and minors in Business and Criminal Justice, I’ve always been passionate about animal care and education. Currently serving as a Police Officer for the city and an Animal Control Officer, I bring experience in animal behavior, public safety, and responsible pet ownership to our business.
Jeremy Williams – Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Jeremy is an experienced store manager at Dollar General and also works for Animal Control for the city and county. His combined expertise in business management and animal welfare ensures that Happy Paws is efficient, customer-focused, and committed to high-quality pet care.
Our Inspiration
As pet owners ourselves, we know that animals aren’t just pets—they’re family. We share our home with two dogs (a Malamute and a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix) and two cats, so we understand firsthand the joy, challenges, and needs of pet ownership.
Why We Started Happy Paws
Our area lacks dedicated pet services, leaving many pet owners struggling to find reliable, professional care for their furry companions. We want to change that by creating a "pet hub"—a one-stop shop where pet owners can find trusted services, expert guidance, and personalized care.
Beyond offering services, we also want to educate the community about animal behavior. Many misconceptions exist—like assuming a barking dog is aggressive—when in reality, understanding pet behavior can help strengthen the bond between owners and their pets. Our experience in animal control and my education in animal science has given us a deep understanding of pet safety, rescue situations, and responsible pet care, which we bring into everything we do at Happy Paws.
